The Compagnia "Genitori Instabili" was born in 2000 in a small primary school in Vicomoscano of Casalmaggiore.
Here our children attend the first class and we as parents we are confronted at last with a school that does not speak only of materials, assignments and grades, but is always looking for models of teaching, leaving plenty of room for creativity and the potential for subjective each child.
Collaboration with families is not only formal but rather becomes truly constructive: in front of our first proposal to organize a play made by parents to children (usually the reverse is true) the reaction of teachers has been enthusiastic and results in close cooperation .
The school becomes a place open for five years where we will have the opportunity to meet and organize our shows, to write screenplays, to rehearse, to set up the scenery.
None of us is a professional but all feel that we have talents and abilities that, when combined, allow us to create something beautiful and fun to talk differently to children of all we hold dearest: friendship , freedom, justice, tolerance and peace.
We discover that children listen to us every year and look forward to the new show, but we also discover that we adults, always taken from making frantic daily life, moments like these to gather and become an indispensable creative breath of fresh air.
This premise is a must because if we did not find the school an open and friendly environment so our adventure would certainly not be taken off.
The remainder was the result of our strong motivation and a healthy dose of "instability" that led us, over time, to pursue more challenging and ambitious projects.
All supported by the knowledge that, through the means of expression of the theater and, later, even the cinema, we had available a great tool of communication with our children that if children were our faithful employees and had fun with us paint, cut and paste to set up our first rudimentary sets today that they are teenagers, along with a healthy dose of protest and critical thinking continue to support and join us in our quest.
